direct reply is not possible. The AquaThought Foundation is strictly
a research organization that studies the neurological impact of
close dolphin contact. In the context of research, we record
physiological metrics from individuals who are undergoing
dolphin-assisted therapy for the mitigation of a variety of
disorders. These are not our patients, nor do we advocate the
therapy. Considering the data that have been gathered to date on
dolphin-assisted therapy, however, we do feel that the subject
merits further scientific study. Additionally, anecdotal reports and
observations from highly qualified therapists suggest that
dolphin-assisted therapy can be quite effective in the treatment of
several disorders.
