Welcome

Welcome to the Second Annual International Symposium on
Dolphin-Assisted Therapy

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Cancun for this second landmark event in Dolphin-Assisted Therapy. The 1996 Symposium will merge outstanding innovators from the fields of dolphin research, medicine and technology in order to advance research into the therapeutic benefits of human-dolphin interaction. The Symposium will also provide a forum for communication, cooperative development and shared research. As organizers, one of our primary goals for this event is to carry dolphin-assisted therapy into accreditation through standardization of protocols and methodologies and through the establishment of a peer-review journal. We hope you are enriched by and enjoy this opportunity to communicate and share your ideas and experiences among members of this emerging field.

Your Hosts,
